Hello, I’m Lomz.
I’m a designer, and LOMZ is the first thing I have built entirely for myself. This is why it exists.
Where it began
I have spent my working life making things look right for other people: brands, campaigns, identities. Somebody else’s name goes on the front, and my work sits underneath it. I love that work. But for a long time one question kept following me. What would I make if the name on the front were mine?
LOMZ is my answer. It starts with a single bag, because I would rather make one thing properly than five things quickly.
Why a bag
A bag is the most honest thing you own. It goes where you go: to work, to church, to the market, to the airport, to dinner with people you love. It holds the small things you cannot leave without and, on heavy days, a little more than that.
I wanted to make one that earns its place there. Soft enough to slouch, deep enough to carry a whole day, and good-looking enough that you reach for it first.
Why Imani
Imani means faith. I chose it because a first bag is the one you make before anyone has told you it will work. You do it anyway, because you believe in it.
That is the spirit I want every LOMZ piece to carry. Nothing rushed, nothing borrowed. Something made with intention, then put in front of you honestly.

The line you will see on the bag, made for his glory, comes from Isaiah 43:7. It is not a slogan I picked for how it sounds. It is how I try to approach the work: do it well, do it honestly, and give the credit where it belongs.
If those words mean something to you, I am glad. If you simply love the leather and the lettering, that is just as welcome here.
Three colours
The Imani comes in wine, black and brown. Wine is for the days you want to be noticed. Black is for every other day. Brown is warmer and quieter, and goes with almost everything.
